The environment and our physical infrastructure is under pressure: the reality/cause of global warming is disputed, but rationally [ENVIRONMENT] we need to act – do what we can to accelerate technologies which will replace the burning of hydrocarbons as the principal source of our energy, and update tired infrastructure to cope with the impacts of climate change, manifestations of which are already appearing.
